I am not just I. I am Me, myself, and I. I believe it is important to understand that we can not stick labels on people. The way I see a person is as a collection of identities. Through these set of scribbles, I'd like to illustrate this point through my own identities. As my good friend once said - "Daniel, you are 50 shades of Daniel".

2. The PhD graduate identity

After so many years of phone conversations where I’ve been asked, β€œis it Miss or Mrs?”, I can now finally say β€œDr” and punch my fist in the air with the sense of victory. It is much more satisfying than saying β€œMr” with a sense of defeat, and a comically deep, rough, and totally fake voice. Yes, today I have received my Doctor of Philosophy degree certificate.
